Our historic city with its towers, monuments and squares is beautiful. As are the vast floodplains along the Lek river. We are incredibly proud of this majestic landscape. But Culemborg gains its true sole from its inhabitants. Because what would the city be like without you?
COLOURFULNESS
For many centuries, people have felt at home here. Because Culemborg embraces you. Whether you were born and raised here or come from the other corners of the earth. With all their differences in background and in colourfulness, Culemborgers make the city. Together we are Culemborg!
CARING
It is the people of Culemborg who give our city its soul and make it a little more beautiful every day. By running an errand for the lonely lady next door, getting involved in your club, organising a neighbourhood barbecue, giving a helping hand to those who can’t manage on their own, taking the initiative to make your street more sustainable. In short, giving someone the feeling 'you are not alone'. In good times and bad times.
TOGETHER
What would the city be like without you? Thank you for being part of our city. On Saturday 13 January 2024 from 2pm-4pm, we will celebrate this together in our New Year's Eve party at the City Hall. With plenty of space for meeting young and old. I sincerely hope to welcome you there.
